Our Story
I’m Emilie Hopson, founder of Agri-Culture Partners. I believe HR should be about people first, not paperwork. After 12+ years in corporate HR working in manufacturing and healthcare, I saw how much energy leaders waste wrestling with “people problems.” At the same time, I was running cattle and sheep, raising a family, and seeing those same challenges on the ranch.
That’s when the lightbulb went off: agriculture needs HR solutions that actually fit farm and ranch life.
Today, I help ranchers, farmers, and ag businesses across the U.S. handle the people side of business without losing sight of the values that make this way of life special. Whether you’re hiring your first employee, trying to keep a team engaged, or figuring out compliance, I’m here to make it less overwhelming and a lot more effective.
Zach and I ranch full-time in Texas with our three kids — Mary, Cora, and Conway. We’re graduates of Ranching for Profit, which transformed the way we think about management and sustainability. When I’m not helping clients, I’m out with the herd, sorting sheep, or coaching our crew. I live the same ups and downs you do, and that’s why I built Agri-Culture: to help you succeed with your people so your whole operation thrives.
